2. How do I become a preferred supplier with Lilly?

At Lilly, a preferred/select supplier is a supplier who has a contract with Lilly that has been developed as a result of a sourcing process for a particular good or service over a period of time. Not all contracted suppliers are preferred/select suppliers and only procurement can designate a supplier as preferred/select.

There is not a standard listing of supplier requirements to become a preferred/select supplier. The requirements for a preferred supplier depends on the business need. If you wish to inquire about preferred/select supplier status, please work with your main Lilly procurement representative.
